The history of Razanac is based on the earliest artefacts known so far, originating from the middle of older stone age (approx. 100.000 years ago).

All predecessors from Celts, Illyrians and Romans to Huns, Avars and other numerous conquerors, have disappeared in the past and today they are noted through history books.

The landscape of Razanac, as it is today, started to develop in the year of 1507, when fortress for defence against Turks was built up.

Fortress towers, built so long ago, today serve to witness the old history of a proud Croatian nation, providing an attractive tourist location at the same time.
